Perry Schrandt, Principal

Hello! My name is Perry Schrandt; I am the Principal at the Pigeon Forge High School. I have been at Pigeon Forge High since 1999, and this is my fifth year. Before that, I spent two year as assistant Principal at Gatlinburg - Pittman High School. I also taught and coached football and soccer for twelve years.

My educational background includes the following degrees: B. S. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; and Master's and EdS from the Lincoln Memorial University.

At Pigeon Forge High School, my responsibilities are to run school as efficiently as possible with an eye towards providing all students with optimal academics, extra - curricular activities, community partnership, and all athletic programs.

Currently Pigeon Forge High School is a growing high school. That can accommodate up to 1,000 students after the new wing is finished. Right now, PFHS has 720 students in grades 9 - 12. The high school started in 1999 and last year (2003) was the first graduating class. This year (2004) will be the second graduating class from Pigeon Forge High School.
