Open to any student planning to study in any field. $1,000 scholarship to student with 2.5 GPA

CARPENTERS IN CHRIST SCHOLARSHIP

$500 Scholarship Available To Student Living in Northview/Kodak area or attending French Broad Valley Baptist Church.

Application due in May.

CATONS CHAPEL COMMUNITY CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

$500; studnets must have graduated from Catons Chapel School.

Application due May 15.

EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION OF SEVIER COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM JOHN AND

INA BERKSHIRE EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE GRANT

The Educational Foundation of Sevier County Schools offers a $1,500 grant to at least one graduating senior from each of Sevier County’s four public high schools. The grants are made possible by the generosity of the John and Ina Berkshire Endowment

Application due in May.

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF SEVIERVILLE

Open to all members of United Methodist churches of Sevier County. Amount of scholarship varies.

Application due in May.

J. PRITCHARD BARNES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Great Smoky Mountains Association of Realtors is offering this scholarship of $1000 to be given to a graduating senior at each of the four public high schools in Sevier County. Essay required.

Application due in April.

NORTHVIEW OPTIMIST CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

$500 scholarships available to students who have attended Northview School or live in the Northview School or live in the Northview area.

Application due in April.

 

PIGEON FORGE ROTARY CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

$1,250 scholarships available to students who have attended a Pigeon Forge elementary or middle school.

Application due in April.

SEVIER COUNTRY EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

One award in county for $500 for a student planning to enter the field of education. Need is important. Application due in May

SEVIER COUNTY FINE ARTS FOUNDATION

$2,000 renewable scholarship to students planning to major in education for the purpose of teaching a fine art.

Application due in April.

SEVIER COUNTY HOMEBUILDERS SCHOLARSHIP

$1,500 scholarship available to graduating senior planning to study architecture, construction, real estate, interior design, or related fields. Open to any student.

Application due in March.

SEVIER COUNTY JUNIOR MISS COMPETITION

Must be a junior female. $1,500 award.

Competition due in March.

SEVIER COUNTY PARTNERS IN PROGRESS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Graduate with a standard diploma from an accredited Sevier County high school or state-approved private school, or obtain a GED diploma.

Graduate with a GPA of 2.7 or higher or obtain a composite score of 19 on the ACT or equivalent score on the SAT (910 composite).

Have a custodial parent or court-appointed legal guardian who resided within the boundaries of Sevier County as of September 1 prior to the student’s high school graduation date.

SEVIER COUNTY RETIRED TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

$300 scholarship awarded to a senior student from each high school. Must enter the field of education.

Application due in March.

SEVIER COUNTY SCHOOLS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP

$500 per semester for 4 years awarded to one graduating senior at each high school. Parent or guardian must be a member of the Sevier Vounty Schools Federal Credit Union. Application and essay required.

Application due in March.

TERRY L. CURETON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP SEVIERVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Scholarship awarded to student planning to major in criminal justice or law enforcement.

Application due in April.

WAL-MART COMMUNITY LEADER SCHOLARSHIP

$1,000 scholarship awarded to a student from Sevier County. Open to any student.

Application due in February.

WOODSMEN OF THE WORLD AMERICAN HISTORY AWARD

$100 to the top U.S. History student at each school.

Application due in May.
